Robin Taub
Why I Do What I Do
I’ve had the pleasure and the privilege of working with great companies and brands like Tangerine, TD, RBC, sonnet insurance and TurboTax. I’ve had so much fun consulting on a financial literacy curriculum for elementary and high school students. And I’ve really enjoyed speaking to students, parents, educators and wealth managers, and their clients, over the years.

Three things I’m super proud of:
- David Chilton, who you may know as one of the Dragons on Dragon’s Den or as the author of The Wealthy Barber, called my book “a treasure chest of great ideas, presented in short, punchy chapters. Excellent!”
- The Wisest Investment was awarded “Best Adult Book of 2022” by The Institute for Financial Literacy.
- Robin Taub Financial Consulting was selected as an Excellence Awardee in the annual Wealth Professional Awards, in the category of IFSE Institute Award for Financial Literacy Champion in 2022 and 2024.
Think of me as Google Translate for personal finance. I take complicated money topics and put them into plain language – and I have fun doing it.
What’s unique about me is that I’m good with both numbers and words – an unusual combination. I’ve also been living this journey with my own kids for more than 25 years!
For fun, I love to snowboard, cycle and go to concerts. I even got backstage once and met Bruce Springsteen. Ask me how – I love talking about it!
