Are you frantically checking under couch cushions on allowance day?! Cash is disappearing at an accelerated rate and most financial transactions these days are digital. Financial technology (fintech) is changing every aspect of how we deal with money and has produced new tools and finance apps that help families:
•    pay their kids allowance 
•    encourage them to earn it by doing chores
•    teach them to spend wisely.

According to research, digital tools have the potential to be a catalyst for financial education. This is particularly true among young people, who are avid users of apps. They can also spark conversations with your kids about earning, saving, spending, sharing and investing. 

With the Family Day weekend approaching, we’re sharing some of the more popular family finance apps available in Canada.
