Robin Taub graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (with High Distinction) from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and earned her Chartered Accountant designation in 1989. She went on to complete the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada’s (CPA) In-Depth Tax Course in 1991.
Robin values lifelong learning and in 2005, she completed the co-active coaching training program with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) of California. In 2010, Robin participated in the Canadian Board Diversity Council’s Director Education Program.
Robin has held professional positions at two of Canada’s largest accounting firms, and spent five years in the complex world of derivatives marketing at Citibank Canada.
Robin is passionate about improving opportunities for women CPAs to advance into positions of leadership. She is Chair of CPA Canada’s Women’s Leadership Council, which offers resources and education to further the advancement of women in the profession and provides support through a variety of initiatives such as webinars, conferences, leadership profiles and tool-kits.
She also enjoys an active family life including cycling, hiking, snowboarding, tennis, music, travel, and reading.
